She's so tiny

She’s so tiny, you’d think she was about the size of a molecule but I know you can’t really see a molecule with the naked eye – she’s spun a web that shows itself in the gleam of a Saturday morning sunbeam – the web extends from the lip of a teacup on the counter at the Acadian farmers’ market (they even have the apostrophe in the right place at this one) to the counter itself – what audacity! to build that filament lifeline in a spot that will no longer exist once the teacup is sold – will she hitch a ride on the cup as it gets placed in one of those paper shopping bags with the two rope handles? or will she stay somewhere nearby and consider other architectural possibilities?
